The role: As a Field Care Supervisor, you will work closely with the Registered Manager, office team, care workers, clients, and their families. You will be a key point of contact for care staff and clients, providing supervision, coaching, and practical support. You will also regularly visit clients in the community to ensure they are receiving safe, high-quality care and are happy with the service provided.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting care planning and completing care assessments
  • Supervising care workers and carrying out field-based spot checks
  • Mentoring new care workers and assessing their competencies
  • Promoting best practice and ensuring care is delivered in line with policies and procedures
  • Monitoring the quality of care provided to clients
  • Supporting medication management and scheduling when required
  • Participating in the on-call rota, shared with other members of the office team
  • Providing hands-on care and practical support when necessary

About you: You will be caring, organised, approachable, and confident supporting both care workers and clients. To be considered, you will need:

  • A Level 3 NVQ in Health and Social Care, or relevant supervisory experience within the care sector
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Confidence using computers and care-management systems
  • Availability to work weekdays and alternate weekends
  • A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle

Previous experience in home care, community care, senior care, or field supervision would be highly advantageous.
