Join Alcedo Care Crewe as a Waking Night Care Assistant, supporting clients across Crewe, Nantwich, Sandbach, Alsager, Congleton and surrounding areas. We are looking for kind, reliable and compassionate people to provide high-quality care and reassurance throughout the night. You will support individuals in their own homes, helping them remain safe, comfortable and independent.
Waking Night Shifts
- Typical shift times include:
- 8:00pm–8:00am
- 10:00pm–7:00am
This is a flexible-hours position, with shifts offered according to client needs and your availability. Regular shifts and fixed rota patterns may be available. Average availability is expected to be approximately 20–40+ hours per week, although hours are not guaranteed.

About the Role
As a Waking Night Care Assistant, you will remain awake and available throughout your shift to provide safe, compassionate and person-centred support. Your responsibilities may include:
- Supporting with washing, dressing and personal care
- Providing continence support
- Assisting with medication
- Preparing meals, snacks and drinks
- Responding to care and reassurance needs during the night
- Completing light household tasks
- Promoting dignity, independence and personal choice
- Providing companionship and emotional support
