Join Alcedo Care St Asaph as a Care Assistant working within the areas of Mold, Holywell and Flint. Excellent rates of pay £14.00 - £14.50 PLUS Pension PLUS Holiday Pay (equating to a Rolled Up pay rate of £16.16 - £16.74). We are offering a free DBS check. Immediate interviews available; let’s fast-track your application. Expected average hours: 20 to 40+ hours per week. Shifts are flexible where possible with opportunities for short shifts or 12-hour shifts (days or nights).
The Care Assistant role involves personal care including continence support, washing, dressing, as well as supporting with medication, meal preparation and helping with household tasks. You’ll promote people’s independence and bring a real sense of joy to those you support. You do not need previous experience to join our team, as all training is provided to boost your skills and confidence. You will be meeting and supporting a diverse range of people of all ages.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care (continence support, washing, dressing) and support with medication as required
- Assist with meal preparation and general household tasks
- Promote independence and dignity for service users
- Support individuals in their own homes and contribute to their wellbeing
- Follow care plans and maintain accurate records as directed
Requirements and Qualifications
- Aged 18 or over
- Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references
- Flexible hours including late evenings and weekends
- No prior experience required; comprehensive training provided
