An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Geoenvironmental Engineer to join a leading multi-disciplinary consultancy. This is primarily a remote position, offering flexibility while working on a wide range of Civil, Structural and Geoenvironmental Engineering projects across the Southwest.

The successful Senior Geoenvironmental Engineer will have 5-10 years relevant experience and will play a key role in delivering site investigations, geoenvironmental assessments and technical reports, while also supporting wider engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver Phase I & Phase II Geoenvironmental and geotechnical reports
  • Design, manage and supervise ground investigations and intrusive site works
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members
  • Liaise with clients, regulators, subcontractors and project stakeholders
  • Undertake soil and rock logging, groundwater monitoring and laboratory scheduling
  • Assist with remediation strategies, foundation design and contaminated land assessments
  • Ensure all work is delivered to high safety, quality and environmental standards
Requirements:
  • Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering or similar
  • Minimum 5 years relevant post-graduate experience
  • Experience within a consultancy or ground investigation contractor environment
  • Working towards or achieved Chartered status (Geological Society, CIWEM, CIEH or similar)
  • Strong report writing and communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel when required
  • Right to work in the UK without restriction
