The predicted salary is between 36000 - 48000 € per year.

We are currently recruiting HGV Class 1 drivers for international positions, with the use of both right and left-hand drive vehicles.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate and maintain heavy goods vehicles (HGV).
  • Transport goods across international borders, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is roadworthy.
  • Keep detailed logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and fuel consumption.
  • Adhere to all local and international traffic regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members.
  • Operate in both national and international deliveries.
  • Load and unload cargo, including Curtainsided transport, while securing loads properly to prevent damage during transit.
  • Check relevant transit documents/ Customs documentation.
  • Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Must hold a valid HGV1 licence, Digital Tachograph card and Full Driver CPC (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence).
  • Previous 1 year's experience in long-distance or international driving is required.
  • Good geographical knowledge of UK and Europe.
  • Excellent knowledge of driver’s hours rules and regulations.
  • Good communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Must be able to apply manual handling techniques.
  • Must be flexible to work weekends & Bank holidays.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Willingness to travel extensively and adapt to varying schedules.

Licence:

  • Class 1 HGV (Some experience in driving left-hand drive vehicles is advantageous).
  • Valid Passport.
  • Valid Settle Status/working Visa if non-UK Resident.

Working days:

  • Guaranteed 5 days per week + plus overtime is required/needed.
  • Opportunity to do overtime within your legal driving limits (Weekends away).
