We are looking for a motivated and experienced Senior Housing Officer to join our Customer Services team with a primary focus on Allocations and Housing Options.
About the Role
Albyn Housing Society is looking for a motivated and experienced Senior Housing Officer to provide day-to-day operational leadership within a function-based housing team, driving high standards of service delivery, performance and continuous improvement.
As a Senior Housing Officer, you will:
- Lead and coordinate the day-to-day delivery of your dedicated housing function
- Line manage Housing Officers and Assistants within your function
- Produce regulatory and management reports
- Deputise for the Customer Services Manager when required
- Improve tenant satisfaction and ensure compliance with legislation and best practices
What we are looking for:
- Experience in social housing and housing management
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of Scottish housing legislation, tenancy management, and welfare systems
- Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience of improving services and using systems and data to support decision-making
- Ability to work proactively and collaboratively
