Contract Terms: 35 hours per week (full time), Permanent

Salary: £41,904 - £46,015, Grade E4-E1 + car allowance. Salary placing will normally be at the lower point of the scale.

Location: Inverness/Invergordon with hybrid working (weekly attendance to the office will be required)

About the Role

Albyn Housing Society is looking for a self‑motivated and professional Clerk of Works with excellent technical knowledge to provide onsite clerk of works duties for our new build development programme. This role is key to ensuring that Albyn delivers high quality, defect‑free homes to our customers. You will work alongside contractors, design teams and developers on the construction of much‑needed homes across the Highlands and will also provide technical advice and knowledge to colleagues across the Albyn Group. This position offers a mix of office and remote working, with travel to construction sites across the Highlands.

We’re looking for someone with…

  • Membership of a relevant professional body (CIOB, ICWCI or similar) or a willingness to work towards membership
  • A relevant technical qualification to at least HND level, or equivalent experience
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to excellence
  • Experience of inspecting workmanship
  • Strong communication and IT skills
  • A collaborative, proactive approach with ability to build positive working relationships
  • A full UK driving licence
