Albourne is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Real Estate Client Support Intern to join our Private Markets Investment Due Diligence Real Estate team.
The intern will gain practical experience supporting real estate research, reporting, data coordination, marketing materials, and ad hoc client and prospect requests.
Key Responsibilities
- Compile quarterly market slides and conduct open-ended fund surveys.
- Download real estate indices and market data from sources such as NCREIF, Preqin, Bloomberg, and FRED for incorporation into our proprietary database by the Data Team.
- Assist with preparation of marketing materials and data for RFPs.
- Support investment research, forecasting activities, portfolio analytics, and client reporting deliverables.
- Partner across teams to support due diligence activities, fund data management, reporting requirements, and data collection initiatives, ensuring data accuracy, effective deadline management, and the timely delivery of high-quality client deliverables.
- Participate in team meetings, manager interactions, and industry events to support collaboration, client engagement, and real estate market knowledge.
- Support ad hoc client and prospect requests, research initiatives, and strategic projects as required.
- Additional Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date information within internal systems, meet reporting and project deadlines, proactively identify and communicate any delivery risks, and operate in compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and applicable compliance standards.
- Key Requirements
- Graduate or pursuing a degree or equivalent.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Proactive self-starter with excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
- Prior experience or knowledge of private markets, including real estate, real assets, private equity, or venture capital, is beneficial but not required.
- Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Strong systems and technology literacy.
- Willingness and ability to obtain and maintain any regulatory registrations required for the role, where applicable.
