An independent, science-led medical communications agency is seeking a Senior Medical Writer to join their growing Copy team. This agency specialises in developing clear, compelling scientific communications that bring transformative therapies and highly complex disease areas to life. The Copy team operates with a high degree of autonomy and ownership across a broad range of projects. Writers are empowered to focus on translating complex science into impactful brand narratives and strategic communications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain in-depth scientific expertise across assigned client accounts and use this to inform communication strategy and content development.
- Lead scientific discussions with healthcare professionals, medical experts, and external stakeholders, providing proactive scientific input valued by clients.
- Develop high-quality content across a wide range of deliverables, with responsibility for overseeing, briefing, and reviewing work from other writers on allocated accounts.
- Contribute to scientific and brand strategy, ensuring messaging is aligned with overarching brand direction and objectives.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams including account management, creative, editorial, and medical strategy colleagues to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Share scientific expertise internally and provide guidance on therapy areas and brand strategy.
