I’m currently partnering with a highly regarded, independent medical communications agency to recruit an experienced Principal Medical Writer to join their growing team.
This is a fantastic opportunity if you enjoy working across a variety of medical affairs and medical communications projects, within a collaborative, supportive agency environment. The role offers genuine flexibility and growth opportunities.
The Role
You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality scientific and medical content across a broad range of projects, including:
- Medical affairs materials (advisory boards, training decks, slide kits)
- Congress assets (posters, abstracts, symposia content)
- Disease awareness and educational materials
- Digital and creative medical communications content
- You’ll work closely with account teams, creatives, and clients, contributing strategic thinking as well as hands‑on writing expertise.
About You
- Proven experience within a medical communications agency
- Strong scientific background with the ability to interpret and communicate complex data clearly
- Excellent writing, editing, and referencing skills
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating within a team
- Strong understanding of industry compliance standards (e.g. ABPI, GPP)
