Albion Rye Associates is proud to partner with a nationally recognised law firm to support the strategic growth of its Life Sciences team through the hire of a Principal Associate in Oxford. This firm houses one of the UK’s largest and most respected Life Sciences practices, advising a dynamic client base — from biotech start-ups and universities to global pharma, medtech, and research institutions.
The Role
You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality commercial legal advice across the life sciences sector. Working closely with the Head of Life Sciences and a wider IP/IT team, you'll advise on:
- IP licensing and collaboration agreements
- Clinical trial and research arrangements
- Supply, manufacturing, and promotional contracts
- Data protection and regulatory matters
- Due diligence in corporate and commercial transactions
- Strategic IP protection and commercialisation

What We’re Looking For
- A UK-qualified solicitor with 5+ years PQE in commercial law
- Proven experience advising life sciences clients
- Strong understanding of the commercial, IP, and regulatory landscape in the sector

- Ideally, experience gained in a leading City or national firm, or in-house
