An award-winning medical communications agency is looking for a proactive, organised and ambitious Junior Account Manager to join their growing client services team. If you’re currently an Account Executive with at least 18 months’ experience and looking for more responsibility, ownership, and opportunities to shine, this role is for you.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Deliver Outstanding Projects
  • Manage logistics and project delivery across a variety of medical communication activities (publications, slide decks, infographics, meetings, symposia and more)
  • Create and maintain project timelines, trackers and status reports
  • Lead internal status meetings and take part in client calls with confidence
  • Organise venues, AV, travel, faculty contracts and onsite preparedness
  • Proactively communicate with internal teams, clients and external experts
  • Start leading smaller projects independently
  • Drive Quality, Efficiency & Financial Awareness
  • Monitor project budgets and highlight any variances
  • Support forecasting, invoicing and financial reporting
  • Identify risks and propose practical solutions early
  • Ensure all work complies with SOPs, pharma codes (e.g., ABPI), style guides and client expectations
  • Collaborate, Support & Grow
  • Build strong relationships across your team and the wider agency
  • Mentor new Account Executives and graduates
  • Support new business activities when required
  • Become a dependable “go-to” person through strong organisation, initiative and teamwork
  • Develop Your Skills & Career
  • Expand your scientific understanding of client products and therapy areas
  • Stay curious—seek feedback, learn, and grow with support from your manager

What We’re Looking For

You will thrive in this role if you are:

  • Already working as an Account Executive in a medical communications agency
  • A natural organiser with excellent time management and attention to detail
  • A strong communicator (written and verbal), confident with clients and internal teams
  • Proactive, solutions-focused and comfortable juggling multiple tasks
  • Calm under pressure and adaptable when priorities shift
  • Competent in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams)

Education:

Bachelor’s degree preferred (life sciences advantageous but not essential)
