I'm currently working with a growing healthcare and pharmaceutical market research business looking to appoint a commercially driven Director of Business Development to play a key role in their next phase of growth.
This is a true new business opportunity — you'll be responsible for opening doors, building senior relationships and turning them into long-term commercial partnerships across the healthcare MR space.

Healthcare professional & specialist audience recruitment
Patient & caregiver recruitment
Online surveys, interviews & other methodologies
Flexible data-collection solutions for complex research projects
Healthcare & pharmaceutical MR consultancies
Healthcare communications & consulting organisations
The role will involve building the BD strategy, generating new business, developing a strong pipeline, leading proposals and negotiations, and growing strategic accounts.
Ideally, you'll have:
- Experience selling data collection, sample, fieldwork or research services
- An established network within healthcare/pharma xgikmsk market research
- A track record of winning new business
- Strong senior-level stakeholder relationships
- A consultative, commercially driven approach
- The ambition to build something, rather than simply manage an existing book
