A leading medical communications agency is seeking a passionate and scientifically driven Medical Writer with strong oncology experience to support the delivery of high-quality publications and medical affairs content for global pharmaceutical clients. What You’ll Do

  • Develop accurate, engaging, and scientifically sound content for a variety of audiences including healthcare professionals, internal stakeholders, and patients.
  • Lead or contribute to the development of publications (manuscripts, abstracts, posters) and medical affairs materials (advisory board content, slide decks, scientific narratives, MSL resources).
  • Ensure work is fully referenced, compliant with industry guidelines (e.g., GPP, ICMJE), and aligned with client strategy.
  • Stay up to date with the latest developments in oncology and other therapeutic areas as needed.
  • Collaborate closely with client services, editorial, design, and scientific teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Attend internal and external meetings (virtually or in-person, if required), including client briefings, scientific discussions, and advisory boards.

What We’re Looking For

  • At least 6 months medical writing experience within a medical communications agency.
  • Oncology experience is essential, including familiarity with clinical trial data and treatment landscapes.
  • Strong understanding of the publications process and experience delivering across a range of medical affairs outputs.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex data clearly and persuasively.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, project management skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for scientific storytelling.
  • A degree in life sciences.
