Senior Account Manager – Public Affairs & Public Relations (Pharma & MedTech)

Location: London (Hybrid – 2 days per week in office)

Salary: £50,000 – £55,000


Our London-based client is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Account Manager to join their expanding team, supporting a mix of Public Affairs and Public Relations projects for high-profile Pharmaceutical and MedTech clients.


This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role across integrated communications programmes that shape policy environments, influence key stakeholders and elevate scientific innovation.


The Role

As a Senior Account Manager, you will:

  • Lead day-to-day client relationships, ensuring exceptional service across multiple accounts.
  • Deliver strategic, insight-driven Public Affairs campaigns, including political monitoring, stakeholder mapping and policy engagement.
  • Drive compelling PR programmes – drafting content, managing media engagement and supporting creative campaign delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal specialists to ensure aligned and impactful communications across channels.
  • Manage programmes, timelines and budgets, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to a positive, collaborative culture.


About You

  • Have strong experience within healthcare communications, ideally across both Public Affairs and PR.
  • Understand the policy landscape, regulatory environment and market dynamics shaping the Pharma/MedTech sectors.
  • Are confident engaging with clients, senior stakeholders and media.
  • Can distil complex scientific or policy information into clear, compelling narratives.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, agency environment with multiple workstreams.
  • Are proactive, solutions-focused and comfortable taking ownership of your work.
