My client is seeking a Consultant to join their Healthcare & Life Sciences Consulting team in London. This is an opportunity to work on high-impact strategic projects across healthcare, pharmaceuticals, life sciences, medtech, and healthcare services. Their clients include investors, healthcare providers, life sciences companies, and public sector organisations. As a consultant, you will play a key role in project delivery, combining rigorous analysis with strategic thinking to help clients make informed business and investment decisions.
Responsibilities
- Work as an integral member of client project teams, supporting project leadership and mentoring junior colleagues.
- Conduct market, company, and industry research using both primary and secondary research methodologies.
- Analyse complex datasets and develop insights that inform strategic recommendations.
- Build market models, forecasts, and commercial assessments.
- Translate findings into clear, compelling, client-ready presentations and reports.
- Take ownership of workstreams and contribute to the successful delivery of engagements.
- Develop hypotheses, test assumptions, and support strategic decision-making for clients.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience, ideally within strategy consulting, healthcare consulting, life sciences consulting, or a related field, with extensive focus on commercial due diligence.
- Experience working within a leading consulting firm is advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proven experience conducting market research and analysing quantitative and qualitative data.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage work independently while collaborating effectively within teams.
- Advanced degree in a STEM discipline preferred; MSc, PhD, MD, or equivalent qualifications are advantageous.
