We’re looking for a talented and driven Exhibition / Experiential Designer for a 1 year contract (could be extended). This is a fully remote role open to UK-based candidates, offering the opportunity to work on creative, high-impact exhibition and experiential design projects within the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors.
You’ll take ownership of projects from concept through to execution, combining strong design thinking with practical delivery skills. This role suits someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, can manage multiple priorities, and brings creativity together with attention to detail.
What You’ll Do
- Lead exhibition design projects from initial concept through to final execution
- Collaborate with clients to understand objectives, themes, and target audiences
- Develop floor plans, mood boards, and detailed 3D models aligned with brand identity
- Create concepts for exhibition spaces, including signage, booths, banners, and displays
- Produce high-quality mockups, 3D renderings, and client presentations
- Work closely with designers, suppliers, and multimedia specialists to integrate all elements
- Ensure designs comply with relevant health and safety regulations and industry standards (including healthcare/pharma compliance where applicable)
- Source materials and props, maintaining design integrity throughout production
- Manage budgets, timelines, and logistics across projects
- Review completed exhibitions to assess engagement and optimise future designs
Collaboration & Project Management
- Work closely with design leadership and project teams to move projects smoothly through the pipeline
- Maintain clear communication with clients, internal teams, and external vendors
- Monitor project progress and proactively resolve issues
- Lead and contribute to project meetings
- Partner with project managers to track timelines, risks, and deliverables
- Foster a collaborative and creative team environment
Required Skills & Experience
- 4+ years’ experience in exhibition or experiential design
- Proven experience working on healthcare and/or pharmaceutical projects (essential)
- Strong portfolio demonstrating relevant sector work
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- High attention to detail with strong organisational skills
- Proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
Desired Skills & Experience
- Deep understanding of trade show and exhibition design processes, particularly within regulated industries
- Experience working across design, fabrication, and production stages
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, 3ds Max (V-Ray), Vectorworks, and Twinmotion
- Experience in client-facing roles, translating feedback into actionable design solutions
- Familiarity with healthcare/pharma compliance, approval processes, and stakeholder environments
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to balance team contribution and independent work
