The Competitive Intelligence Consultant will play a vital role in developing and delivering best-in-class CI deliverables. Key Responsibilities:- Act as a lead consultant across CI engagements, from competitive landscape assessments to scenario planning and opportunity/threat identification.
- Support global pharmaceutical and biotech clients by delivering strategic insights through a mix of desk research, expert interviews, and real-time intelligence.
- Track and synthesize competitor developments across regulatory, clinical, commercial, and scientific domains.
- Attend and report on key scientific and industry conferences, distilling insights and implications for client brands.
- Collaborate closely with internal project teams and client stakeholders to shape research scope, methodologies, and deliverables.
- Contribute to proposal development, internal capability building, and methodological innovation within the CI function.
- 2–5 years of experience in competitive intelligence, pharmaceutical consulting, or strategic insights in the life sciences industry.
- Degree in life sciences, pharmacy, public health, or related discipline (postgraduate preferred).
- Proven ability to conduct and interpret secondary and primary research, including payer and KOL interviews.
- Familiarity with tools such as clinicaltrials.gov, PubMed, EvaluatePharma, GlobalData, or Cortellis.
- Strong communicator—capable of building compelling narratives from data, with experience presenting to internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in therapeutic areas such as oncology, immunology, rare diseases, or neuroscience is highly desirable.
- A team player with a collaborative mindset, who thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
