Are you passionate about shaping the future of health and social care through policy and communications? My client is looking for anAccount Director (or experiencedSenior Account Manager ready for a step up) to join a fast-growing, values-driven public affairs and communications consultancy.
About the Role:
You’ll play a lead role on a diverse portfolio of clients across the pharmaceutical, life sciences, digital health, and social care landscape. You\’ll help clients navigate complex policy environments, deliver high-impact campaigns, and influence meaningful change in the sector.
What You\’ll Do:
Lead strategic client programmes focused on health and social care policy
Advise senior stakeholders and build trusted relationships across industry and government
Manage integrated campaigns—from strategy to execution
Produce and oversee high-quality policy briefings, reports, and stakeholder materials
Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to team development
Play a key role in new business development and organic growth
Represent the agency at key sector events and forums
What We’re Looking For:
Strong understanding of UK health and/or social care policy
Experience working with pharmaceutical or health sector clients (agency or in-house)
Proven ability to lead accounts, manage stakeholders, and deliver results
Skilled in navigating the political landscape—confident engaging with Parliamentarians, policymakers, and regulators
Proactive, collaborative, and commercially minded
Line management experience and a passion for developing others
