Acting as both Principal Contractor and Installation Contractor, the company delivers technically complex projects across the UK for public and private sector clients, with values ranging up to £5 million.

The company is seeking a proven Pre-Construction Manager with a strong façade background to join their team in a remote-based capacity. This individual will lead the full pre-construction process from initial enquiry through to handover, managing tendering, client engagement, programming, and design coordination.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the pre-construction function and will be given the platform to develop the department and progress into a senior leadership position as the business grows.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee and manage the full tendering process, including bid preparation and submission
- Programme and sequence projects up to £5m in value
- Compile tender documentation, working with external estimators (take-offs provided)
- Liaise with clients and lead negotiations as a key client-facing representative
- Manage design input from external consultants and ensure technical accuracy
- Develop the pre-construction programme and support RAMS development (produced by delivery team)
- Assist in the development of detailed construction programmes
- Coordinate pre-start deliverables including H&S documentation and compliance checks
- Support and refine internal pre-construction systems as the business scales
- Proven track record as a Pre-Construction Manager in a specialist subcontracting or main contracting environment
- Strong background in façade remediation, cladding, or building envelope works
- Ideally from an estimating or operational background with sound commercial and technical knowledge
- Experienced in managing external design consultants and interpreting technical drawings
- Excellent communication and organisational skills – must be confident and client-facing
- Strong understanding of CDM, RAMS, and construction planning
- Comfortable working remotely with limited supervision and proactive decision-making
- Experience using Microsoft Project or equivalent programming tools
- £65,000 – £80,000, depending on experience
- Remote-based role (UK-wide, with occasional travel as needed)
