Albion Recruitment is currently working with a specialist façade subcontractor delivering works on major HS2 infrastructure projects, who are looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.
This is an excellent opportunity to be involved in one of the UK's most significant infrastructure programmes, working on technically complex façade and envelope packages within a structured, long-term environment.
The Role
Working as part of the commercial team, you will take responsibility for the financial management of façade packages on HS2-related projects, ensuring commercial performance and contract compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing commercial aspects of façade subcontract packages on HS2 schemes
- Preparing and submitting valuations, variations, and final accounts
- Cost reporting and financial forecasting
- Subcontractor procurement and account management
- Contract administration under NEC forms of contract
- Liaising with project teams, clients, and supply chain partners
- Supporting the commercial strategy across multiple live packages
Candidate Requirements
- Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within construction
- NEC contract experience is essential
- Background in rail, infrastructure, or façade packages preferred
- Strong commercial awareness and reporting skills
- Able to work both on-site and remotely as part of a hybrid setup
