An established and growing façade specialist is looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to join its expanding delivery team. The business operates across two core areas: delivering complex new-build façade packages for Tier 1 Main Contractors, alongside recladding and façade remediation projects where they operate as Principal Contractor. With a strong pipeline of secured work and continued plans for growth, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced façade professional to join the business and take ownership of projects from pre-construction through to successful completion.

The Role

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and delivery of façade and cladding projects, coordinating internal teams, subcontractors, consultants and clients to ensure projects are delivered safely, commercially and to programme. You will work closely with the Design, Commercial and Pre-Construction teams while maintaining responsibility for the day-to-day management of your projects.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Taking overall responsibility for façade projects from pre-construction and mobilisation through to completion and handover
  • Managing both new-build façade packages and recladding/façade remediation projects
  • Developing and managing construction programmes, key milestones and project deliverables
  • Coordinating design, procurement, commercial and site activities
  • Managing specialist subcontractors and supply-chain partners
  • Working closely with external architects, engineers, consultants and design teams
  • Chairing and attending client, design, progress and subcontractor meetings
  • Monitoring project performance against programme, budget and quality requirements
  • Identifying project risks at an early stage and implementing appropriate solutions
  • Managing procurement schedules and ensuring materials and specialist packages are coordinated with the construction programme
  • Maintaining strong relationships with Tier 1 Main Contractors, clients and consultants
  • Ensuring projects are delivered in accordance with relevant Building Regulations and façade performance requirements
  • Supporting compliance with the Building Safety Act and BSR requirements where applicable
  • Managing projects through practical completion, handover and close-out
  • Reporting directly to the Director and senior management team

Experience Required

The successful candidate must come from a façade, cladding or specialist building-envelope background, with demonstrable experience managing façade projects through the construction lifecycle. You will ideally have experience across systems such as rainscreen cladding, curtain walling, SFS, windows and associated external envelope packages. Experience working on new-build projects for Tier 1 Main Contractors would be highly beneficial, while previous involvement in recladding, façade remediation or fire-safety-related projects would also be particularly relevant. You should be commercially aware, technically competent and comfortable taking full ownership of projects while coordinating multiple stakeholders. Knowledge of the Building Safety Regulator (BSR), Building Safety Act and Gateway process would be highly advantageous, particularly for higher-risk building and remediation projects.

What's on Offer

This is an opportunity to join an established façade specialist at an exciting stage of its development, with a strong pipeline across both new-build and remediation sectors. The position offers a competitive salary and package, hybrid working, and genuine scope for progression as the business continues to expand. For an ambitious Project Manager, there is a clear opportunity to develop into a Senior Project Manager / Contracts Manager position, taking responsibility for larger projects and a wider portfolio of work.
