I'm currently recruiting for an experienced QA Manager to join a specialist roofing and cladding contractor on a major £30m package at Sizewell C in Suffolk.
This is a fantastic opportunity to get involved in a substantial project offering approximately 2½ years of work.
Responsibilities:
- Manage quality assurance across roofing and cladding installations.
- Ensure works comply with the project Quality Plan and Inspection Test Plans (ITPs).
- Carry out site inspections, recording photographic evidence and testing documentation.
- Manage snagging, non-conformances and handover processes.
- Liaise with clients, building control and clerks of works.
- Oversee material inspections and maintain quality trackers.
- Ensure subcontractors adhere to required inspection and hold points.
Requirements:
- Strong background in roofing, cladding or façade quality management.
- Experience using digital QA systems, ideally Dalux.
- Good understanding of technical drawings, specifications and installation standards.
- SMSTS, appropriate CSCS/NVQ Management qualification, First Aid and Fire Marshal.
- Confident communicating with clients and subcontractors.
- Based within a commutable distance of Sizewell, Suffolk
