Albion Recruitment is currently working with a well-established specialist interiors contractor, who are looking to appoint an experienced Joinery Estimator to join their growing pre-construction team.
The business delivers high-end commercial and bespoke interior projects, with a strong focus on complex joinery packages across workplace, hospitality, and premium commercial environments.
The Role
You will be responsible for the full estimating process on joinery packages, working closely with the pre-construction, design, and delivery teams to secure and price projects accurately.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing detailed cost estimates for bespoke joinery packages
- Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
- Producing accurate take-offs and cost plans
- Obtaining and assessing supplier and subcontractor quotations
- Value engineering and identifying cost-saving opportunities
- Supporting the tender process through to submission
- Liaising with design, procurement, and project teams
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience as an Estimator within joinery or specialist interiors
- Strong understanding of bespoke joinery and fit-out packages
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Good commercial awareness and attention to detail
- Proficient with Excel and estimating software
- Experience working for a specialist contractor preferred
