Job summary

We are looking for a salaried GP 4 Clinical sessions per week ( Tuesday and Wednesday), to join our enthusiastic, progressive team of 3 Partners. We are in Whitechapel is a built-up inner-city district in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, London. Albion Health Centre It is two minutes walk from Whitechapel tube station. It is situated nearly opposite Royal London Hospital in a grand listed building and extremely well connected by over ground train, Tube and bus services. The number of sessions is flexible. Our patients are looked after by our multidisciplinary teams which include GPs, Nurses, Paramedics, ANPs, Physiotherapist and Pharmacists. We work closely with local practices as part of the East End Health Network (PCN).Whether you are newly qualified or an experienced GP, we will support you to settle into the team and encourage you to develop your clinical interests.

  • Manage patients including acute and chronic conditions.
  • Undertake home visits and urgent care as required.
  • Work collaboratively with other practice staff, including nurses, HCAs, and administrative staff.
  • Contribute to clinical governance, audits, and service development.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records and documentation.
  • Participate in team meetings and practice activities

Qualifications

Essential

  • Good interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Good written presentation skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Strong IT skills
  • Clear, polite telephone manner
  • Competent in the use of Office and Outlook
  • EMIS Web skills
  • Effective time management planning and organising
  • Ability to work as a team member and autonomously
  • Problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to follow clinical policy and procedure
  • Experience with audit and able to lead audit programmes
  • Experience with clinical risk management

Desirable

  • Fully qualified GP with GMC registration and inclusion on the NHS England Performers List; with evidence of up-to-date clinical practice and commitment to high standards of patient care.
