As Chef de Partie, you'll play an important role within the brigade, working closely with the senior kitchen team to deliver food that's simple, seasonal, and exceptionally well executed. This is a hands-on role in a busy kitchen environment, ideal for a chef who is passionate about developing their skills and taking pride in high standards. We're looking for someone organised, motivated, and eager to be part of a supportive and ambitious team.

What you'll be doing:

  • Running and maintaining your designated section during service
  • Preparing and delivering high-quality dishes with consistency and attention to detail
  • Supporting the Sous Chef and Head Chef in day-to-day kitchen operations
  • Assisting with food preparation, stock rotation, and minimising waste
  • Maintaining excellent food hygiene, health & safety, and cleanliness standards
  • Helping deliver smooth and efficient service during busy periods
  • Supporting junior team members and contributing to a positive working environment
  • Assisting with seasonal menu changes, specials, and new dish development

What we're looking for:

  • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Commis Chef ready to progress
  • NVQ Level 2 Food Production (or equivalent) desirable
  • Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate preferred
  • Passion for fresh food and hospitality
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen
  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts and service times
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards and team culture
