As Chef de Partie, you will play an important role within the brigade, working closely with the senior kitchen team to deliver food that’s simple, seasonal, and exceptionally well executed. This is a hands-on role in a busy kitchen environment, ideal for a chef who is passionate about developing their skills and taking pride in high standards. We are looking for someone organised, motivated, and eager to be part of a supportive and ambitious team.
What you’ll be doing:
- Running and maintaining your designated section during service
- Preparing and delivering high-quality dishes with consistency and attention to detail
- Supporting the Sous Chef and Head Chef in day-to-day kitchen operations
- Assisting with food preparation, stock rotation, and minimising waste
- Maintaining excellent food hygiene, health & safety, and cleanliness standards
- Helping deliver smooth and efficient service during busy periods
- Supporting junior team members and contributing to a positive working environment
- Assisting with seasonal menu changes, specials, and new dish development
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Commis Chef ready to progress
- NVQ Level 2 Food Production (or equivalent) desirable
- Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate preferred
- Passion for fresh food and hospitality
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work calmly under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and service times
- Commitment to maintaining high standards and team culture
