Information Technology Operations Analyst in Stoke-on-Trent

Title: IT Operations Analyst (Insurance/Salesforce/OpenTwins)

Location: London (Hybrid – 3 days on-site)

Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum + benefits

Overview:

We’re seeking a proactive IT Operations Analyst to join a growing Business Technology team within a leading Lloyd’s Market reinsurer. This is a hands-on role supporting application maintenance, user queries, and operational efficiency during an exciting period of transformation and growth.

What You’ll Do:

• Diagnose and resolve end-user queries across the business application portfolio.
• Provide visible, deskside support and ensure strong communication with business teams.
• Administer user accounts, manage licenses, and monitor usage.
• Test upgrades and patches to maintain application stability.
• Deliver end-user training and maintain accurate documentation.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
• Maintain the application catalogue and drive compliance with operational controls.
• Support wider business and technology projects as required.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in application support, ideally within financial services or insurance.
• Strong customer service, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of Salesforce (CRM), OpenTwins (PAS), or document management systems preferred.
• Understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks (ITIL desirable).
• Confident working both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid setup.
