Guidewire Business Systems Analyst – Contract
Location: London (100% remote)
Rate: £650 – £800 per day (Outside IR35)
Sector: Lloyd’s / London Market Insurance
Duration: Initial 6–12 months (strong potential for extension)
About the Role:
We are currently partnering with several leading Lloyd’s and London Market insurers who are undertaking large-scale Guidewire transformation programmes across Underwriting, Policy Administration, and Claims.
As a Guidewire Business Systems Analyst (Contract), you’ll play a pivotal role in translating complex business requirements into effective Guidewire solutions – driving operational efficiency, system modernisation, and digital capability enhancements across the insurance value chain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to elicit and document detailed requirements for Guidewire implementation (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter).
- Translate business processes into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Support design, configuration, and integration activities, ensuring alignment with business needs and system architecture.
- Lead workshops and process definition sessions across underwriting, policy, and claims functions.
- Conduct impact analysis and manage change requests throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Support testing, defect triage, and end-user validation during UAT and go-live phases.
- Ensure compliance with Lloyd’s / London Market standards, workflows, and regulatory frameworks.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst on Guidewire transformation programmes (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter).
- Strong understanding of Lloyd’s / London Market insurance processes, particularly underwriting, policy, and claims administration.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and requirements management skills, with experience running workshops and documenting user stories.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery and working in cross-functional teams.
- Experience in data migration, system integration, and working with API-driven architectures.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
