I’m partnering with a leading Lloyd’s/London Market Insurtech who are embarking on major transformation programmes across their Underwriting and PAS landscape. They’re looking for a Business System Analyst to join their high-performing change team and play a key role in delivering projects from feasibility through to implementation. This role is perfect for someone who thrives at the intersection of business and technology working closely with stakeholders, developers, and product teams to design solutions, optimise processes, and support change across the full insurance lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Configure and optimise insurance systems in line with business and client requirements
- Translate business needs into clear documentation, functional specs, and solution designs
- Produce feasibility studies, business proposals, and MIS reports (Crystal Reports / MS Report Builder)
- Build and execute SQL queries to analyse data, generate reporting, and update databases
- Lead testing phases, implementation plans, and user training
- Act as the bridge between clients, developers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery
- Keep informed on emerging industry, regulatory, and technology developments
Requirements
- Strong understanding of the end-to-end insurance lifecycle
- Lloyd’s / London Market experience highly advantageous
- Proficient in SQL and experienced with database-driven applications
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communicator with proven stakeholder management capability
- Self-starter able to work autonomously and own deliverables
