About the Role
This role sits within our client's Insurance division, where you’ll act as a key adviser to commercial clients, managing cases with GWP values ranging between £50,000 and £250,000. Working alongside a dedicated Account Executive, you’ll take ownership of the broking lifecycle—from risk presentation to policy placement and renewal strategy. You’ll need to be confident, commercially astute, and committed to putting clients at the centre of every decision.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Acting as the main broking contact for a portfolio of commercial clients
- Managing the full insurance cycle in partnership with Account Executives
- Preparing and presenting comprehensive renewal and new business quotations
- Liaising with underwriters to secure optimal terms for clients
- Advising clients on risk exposure and policy cover—both motor and non-motor
- Supporting growth through cross-sell opportunities
- Maintaining excellent insurer relationships and staying ahead of market developments
- Ensuring files are accurate, up to date, and FCA compliant
- Continuously identifying areas to improve service and operational efficiency
What You’ll Bring
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in commercial broking
- Strong technical knowledge across a range of commercial insurance products
- Excellent relationship-building skills with both clients and insurers
- CII qualifications (or a clear intention to obtain them)
- Experience using Acturis or similar broking systems
- A proactive mindset with sharp attention to detail
- Confident, clear communicator—both written and verbal
- Professional, personable, and driven to deliver outstanding service
