I'm currently working with a growing organisation looking to strengthen its technology team with a Database Administrator who will play a key role in managing and optimising their database infrastructure. The Role
As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management, optimisation, and maintenance of the organisation’s database environments. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing and maintaining SQL database environments
- Monitoring database performance and identifying optimisation opportunities
- Implementing performance tuning strategies to improve system efficiency
- Managing database backups and disaster recovery processes
- Troubleshooting database incidents and resolving performance issues

What Our Client Is Looking For:
- Experience working as a Database Administrator or SQL DBA
- Strong knowledge of SQL-based databases (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL or similar)
- Experience with database monitoring, optimisation, and performance tuning
- Understanding of backup, restore, and disaster recovery processes
- Experience troubleshooting database incidents and performance issues
- Knowledge of database security and access management best practices
