We’re working with a leading Lloyds Market Technology vendor looking to hire a BI Analyst to join their Data Services team. This is a SQL-heavy, delivery-focused role where you’ll design and deliver robust BI solutions using the Microsoft BI stack, working closely with internal stakeholders and external clients. You’ll be responsible for turning business and client requirements into high-quality BI and reporting solutions, owning delivery end-to-end.
Key responsibilities:
- Designing and delivering BI and reporting solutions using SQL Server & Microsoft BI tools
- Translating business requirements into technical BI designs
- Developing SQL datasets, views and stored procedures
- Building and supporting ETL processes and data flows
- Creating and maintaining reports and dashboards
- Presenting BI solutions to stakeholders and clients
- Supporting and troubleshooting delivered BI solutions
Requirements:
- 3+ years’ experience in a BI Analyst / BI Developer / SQL-focused BI role
- Experience with the Microsoft BI stack
- Solid understanding of data warehousing & reporting concepts
- ETL experience
- Confident working directly with stakeholders or clients
- Experience with large or complex datasets
- Exposure to Azure DevOps / Git is a bonus
- Background in insurance or financial services is advantageous
- Analytical, detail-oriented and delivery-focused
- Comfortable working autonomously and owning outcomes
- Strong communicator (technical & non-technical)
- Organised, adaptable and able to juggle priorities
