We’re seeking a Commercial Account Handler to join a successful brokerage in Chelmsford. This is a direct replacement, so you’ll step into a key role supporting a strong client portfolio from day one.
The Role
- Handling renewals, mid-term adjustments, and new business efficiently
- Acting as the main point of contact for a portfolio of commercial clients
- Negotiating terms with insurers to secure the best outcomes
- Producing accurate policy documentation and maintaining compliant client records
- Supporting Account Executives and contributing to a high-performing team
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in commercial insurance, ideally 2–3 years
- Confident managing renewals and client queries independently
- Excellent communication and organisational skills

- Bonus points for: Working towards or holding Cert CII; Experience with Acturis or similar systems
