We are looking for a qualified solicitor to join our thriving Criminal Law team. Ideally, we would seek to engage a qualified Criminal Solicitor with Court duty and police station accreditation; however, training opportunities are available within the firm should the candidate be either a qualified Criminal Solicitor or a qualified solicitor who is looking to transfer their skills to Criminal Law.

The role involves representing and advising clients at police stations, Magistrates’ Court, and Crown Court, conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, meeting with clients, and preparing cases for court hearings. The solicitor will be expected to manage a caseload of criminal law matters efficiently while maintaining professional and ethical standards and providing high-quality client care.
The candidate will have the opportunity to work within a team of Criminal Solicitors, case workers, and trainees and will have assistance from our Crown Court team to prepare Crown Court matters. Our firm provides a 24/7 police station service via a duty and in-house rota. The candidate will be expected to undertake out of hours work at the police station and will receive a generous out of hours rate.
