Albin and Co Ltd are a Lexcel accredited law firm providing legal services in the following areas of law: Criminal, Prison, Children and Family.
We are looking for a qualified solicitor to join our Criminal Law team at our Reading office. The candidate must either be a qualified Criminal Solicitor or a qualified solicitor who is looking to transfer their skills to Criminal Law. The candidate must have rights of audience within the UK. Albin and Co Criminal Department has many years of experience and an excellent track record defending clients and have a well-known reputation.
The candidate will have the opportunity to work within a team but manage their own caseload of the full range of criminal matters and will attend clients at the police station and Magistrates Court. The candidate will prepare their own cases for the Magistrates Court and will have assistance from our Crown Court team to prepare Crown Court matters. Our firm provides a 24/7 police station service via a duty and in-house rota. The candidate will be expected to undertake out of hours work at the police station and will receive a generous out of hours rate.
