The role of the Sales Operations Manager is to drive sales and customer service through the operational excellence of your team. Working closely with the Sales, Marketing, Finance & Planning teams to deliver a high level of service and account management with existing retailers.
Key Responsibilities
- Effective leadership of the sales operations team to facilitate orders of our customer accounts across UK and Europe.
- Develop retail customer relationships, ensuring you have a full understanding of their logistical requirements and coordinate the team to deliver on these.
- Deliver excellent customer service, with a clear understanding of our brands and expertise.
- Maintaining customer data through our systems, sales forecast, and activity reports.
- Plan workflow effectively based on forecast and demand with our 3PL partners across Europe.
- Plan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirements.
- Delivery of weekly and month end financial and operational report.
- Manage the dispute process and allocate resource to reduce further re-occurrence.
Skills and Experience
- Proven knowledge of operations within logistics or supply chain.
- Customer focussed with a proactive and solutions led approach.
- Confidence with communicating effectively at multiple levels.
- Commercially focussed with an understanding of budgets and how to achieve targets.
- Ability to remain calm while working under pressure and have a customer-oriented approach.
- Team supervision, development, or management experience.
- Advanced IT skills, particularly in Excel and ERP systems.
- Knowledge of Spanish, French or German would be beneficial.
