To support the People and Operations Directorate in achieving its vision of being a great place to work and volunteer. Our aims are for people of all backgrounds and identities to be supported throughout their akt journey from recruitment to exit, to provide effective policies, processes and systems to help staff thrive, and to promote a culture of inclusion, equity, diversity and wellbeing.

The Culture, Inclusion and Engagement Manager will act as a senior People specialist in EDI, Learning and Development, Culture and Engagement, responsible for leading and advising on related strategies and implementing plans and initiatives to support akt in meeting its objectives. The role will play an important part in delivering the people and culture elements of akt's new Home and Hope strategy and supporting the development and delivery of a new People and Culture Strategy that enables our colleagues and volunteers to thrive and contribute to the organisation's long-term ambitions.

The role will also be fundamental in supporting the People Officer with the delivery of akt’s People administration throughout the employment life cycle, from recruitment to exit, ensuring a positive and professional experience for candidates, staff and line managers.

Location: One vacancy that can be done from either akt's London or Manchester site.
