Senior – Management Information Systems (Accountancy)
Albert Goodman LLP is seeking a Senior – Management Information Systems (Accountancy). The MIS team uses technology to automate tasks, assess client needs, implement and support automation solutions, and train users. The role involves three core areas: Management Reporting, Cashflows & Forecasting, and Management Systems.
Responsibilities
- Management Reporting – Bringing data to life by extracting, consolidating, and automating information from multiple systems to create clear, reliable reports tailored to each stakeholder’s needs.
- Cashflows & Forecasting – Using bespoke templates, help clients plan ahead with accurate forecasts, forward-looking projections, forecast vs. actuals, or dynamic rolling forecasts.
- Management Systems – Streamline finance functions by spotting repetitive tasks and automating them, boosting efficiency and accuracy.
What we need from you
We would love to hear from candidates with a background in this area, or those looking for a career in MIS. There will be plenty of opportunity for building relationships, developing your skills, and progressing your career.
- Be ACA or ACCA qualified/newly qualified (or qualified by experience)
- Have experience with Excel (including VBA), Power Query, Power BI, and accounting systems such as Xero, Sage and SAP
- Be a confident and collaborative team player with excellent people skills
- Enjoy giving outstanding client service
- Be self motivated with a strong work ethic
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills
- Be comfortable with changing deadlines and priorities
