The role
Our Payroll team work with businesses of all sizes across a multitude of sectors to provide a fully outsourced managed payroll service. Our aim is to work with those clients delivering a service that is flexible to meet their needs and at the same time providing more than a basic payroll bureau service.
The team have a breadth of payroll knowledge to support with all aspects of payroll processing, pension deductions, payslip production, as well as advising clients on the technical aspects of payroll and navigating any statutory changes required. We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Payroll Administrator to join us in either our Yeovil or Taunton office. The potential candidate would ideally have public sector or NHS payroll experience to support the growth of NHS/Medical payrolls. You will take a more senior role in the payroll team, liaising with clients on their payroll processes and procedures, as well as developing the client care skills of the team. You’ll be responsible for the processing and administration of payrolls within an allocated portfolio.
The preferred candidate will bring proven outsourced payroll administration experience, with public sector or NHS experience considered highly desirable due to the complexity of terms and conditions, pension arrangements, statutory compliance requirements, and stakeholder expectations in these environments.
What we need from you
- Have an excellent working knowledge of all areas of payroll, RTI and HMRC reporting requirements
- Be experienced in processing multiple payrolls and frequencies, with public sector or NHS experience considered highly desirable
- Be confident working with numbers and IT software, and have experience of using Iris Payroll Professional, PayCircle and Xero
- Enjoy delivering outstanding customer service to clients and inspiring others to do the same
- Have great attention to detail and organisational skills
