Our Simple 4 Step Recruitment Process

  • Application: Apply via our website, complete a short application with the opportunity to add a CV and cover letter. If shortlisted, you’ll be asked to complete an online numerical reasoning test.
  • Assessment: Those successful with the test will be invited to a half-day assessment event. This will give you the chance to meet our teams, participate in group and individual activities, have an interview and learn more about Albert Goodman.
  • Outcome: We’ll let you know the final outcome of your application. If successful you’ll join us in March, July or September, with a tailored induction for trainees.

Routes to Qualification

AAT and ACCA

  • Level 3 – Advanced Diploma in Accounting – takes approximately 13 months to complete
  • Level 4 – Professional Diploma in Accounting – takes approximately 13 months to complete

With an AAT qualification or a degree, you can take this advanced course to become a chartered accountant. We offer this course as a three-year programme under a Level 7.

ACCA

This is one course. It takes an average of three to four years to qualify and become chartered.

Becoming a qualified taxation technician

We offer two routes to become fully qualified for those interested in a career in tax.

  • ATT: We offer this course as a Level 4 apprenticeship for those interested in a career in tax. It takes approximately 18 months to complete.
  • CTA: Most of our trainees progress from ATT or ACA to this advanced qualification. We provide this course under a Level 7 apprenticeship. It takes approximately two to three years to qualify.

ATT & CTA COMBINED

You can combine these two qualifications once you have completed the ATT or AAT courses, or if you are a graduate. We offer this combined course under a Level 7 apprenticeship scheme. It takes approximately three to four years to qualify.
