The role
Our Outsourced Finance team lets businesses outsource many of their financial functions, including undertaking the administrative tasks of bookkeeping, management accounts and VAT returns. We’re looking for a Bookkeeper with experience to join our well established and supportive team, to be based in our Taunton or Yeovil office. Within this role you will be responsible for maintaining records and preparing VAT returns for a portfolio of SME clients including sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
What we need from you
- Be AAT part qualified or qualified
- Have proven experience in a bookkeeping role
- Have a strong understanding of VAT and bookkeeping principles
- Be proficient in cloud accounting software such as Xero
- Be a confident and collaborative team player
- Show excellent people skills and the ability to offer outstanding customer service to clients
- Have self‑motivation and a strong work ethic
- Have excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
