We are looking for a motivated and ambitious Assistant Manager to join our Personal Tax team, based in either our Bristol, Taunton or Yeovil office. This is an exciting opportunity to take the next step in your tax career within a supportive and collaborative team. You will work closely with our Tax Partners, Directors, Managers and fellow tax specialists, helping to deliver exceptional service to a diverse portfolio of private clients while continuing to develop your technical and advisory skills. You may have a particular specialism in mind or be looking for a varied experience – we are really interested in hearing from you in either case!
As an Assistant Manager, you will take responsibility for managing your own portfolio as well as supporting senior colleagues on more complex assignments and helping to develop junior members of the team. You will play an important role in maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring work is delivered accurately, efficiently, and to the highest professional standards. What we need from you:
- Have at least one of the following: ATT / CTA / ACA / STEP
- Have experience of working within a Personal Tax or Private Client Tax team
- Have strong technical knowledge of UK personal taxation
- Be confident managing a portfolio of clients and building strong client relationships
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Be proactive, self-motivated and able to work independently and collaboratively
- Enjoy supporting and developing more junior team members
- Demonstrate a commitment to delivering an outstanding client experience
