The Role
Our client is seeking an exceptional Senior Infrastructure Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and scaling of their cloud landscape. This is a role for someone who thrives in high-stakes engineering environments — building secure, resilient, cost-efficient systems that enable rapid delivery while maintaining compliance, reliability, and operational excellence. You will be the technical heartbeat behind DevOps, infrastructure security, observability, and audit readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure to support rapid product and user growth
- Prepare systems for SOC 2 and ISO 27001 audit readiness
- Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines for backend, frontend, and data teams
- Lead observability across logging, metrics, tracing, alerting, and on-call
- Monitor, manage, and optimise cloud costs without compromising performance
- Act as the internal champion for reliability, scalability, and operational excellence

Technical Requirements
- Infrastructure & Cloud: Terraform, Docker, GitHub Actions
- Observability: Logging, metrics, tracing, alerting frameworks
- Security: Secrets management, security scanning, cloud security best practices
- Networking: VPCs, DNS, private networking, load balancers, VPNs, firewalls
- Databases & Storage: PostgreSQL, MySQL, NoSQL, blob storage management at scale
- Automation: Python or Bash
Experience Required
- 4–7 years’ experience in Infrastructure, DevOps, or SRE roles
- Experience in high-growth or high-load startup environments
- Proven ownership of infrastructure from architecture to production
- Strong background in reliability, compliance, and security engineering
- Exposure to SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR or similar frameworks
- Clear track record of driving cloud cost efficiency
