We’re partnering with a high-performing trading / fintech firm building and scaling real-time, business-critical trading platforms. They are looking for a Senior QA / Automation Engineer to take ownership of testing across complex, distributed systems and play a key role in driving automation strategy and improving system quality at scale. This is not a traditional QA role - you’ll operate closer to an SDET / QA Engineering function, working alongside engineers and trading teams on systems where performance, accuracy, and reliability are critical.

You’ll have real impact on:

  • High-value, real-time trading applications
  • End-to-end system quality across multiple services
  • Automation strategy and test framework evolution

Responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing robust automation frameworks
  • Driving test strategy, coverage, and best practices
  • Performing integration, API, and end-to-end testing
  • Collaborating closely with developers, DevOps, and business stakeholders
  • Ensuring quality across complex, highly integrated systems in a regulated environment

Requirements:

  • 10+ years’ experience in QA / Test Automation
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java / JavaScript (Spring Boot environments)
  • Expertise in automation tools (Selenium, RestAssured, etc.)
  • Experience with BDD / TDD (Cucumber, JUnit, TestNG)
  • Proven background in trading platforms, exchanges, or financial systems
  • Strong understanding of API, integration, and system testing
  • Experience working in Agile environments
