Albert Bow is working with a high growth team looking for an AI ML Engineer to help turn notebook experiments into production ready ML pipelines. You’ll sit between ML scientists and platform engineers, helping move projects from prototype into scalable, reliable systems.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with AI ML scientists to optimise models and support production deployment
  • Turn exploratory work into reusable pipelines and blueprints
  • Explore and validate datasets, spotting distribution shifts and performance risks
  • Build and maintain training pipelines, troubleshooting issues across the ML lifecycle
  • Partner with ML infrastructure engineers to improve platform reliability and scale

Requirements

  • Strong communicator with a positive, hands on approach
  • Experience working closely with data scientists and engineering teams
  • Degree in a relevant field (PhD or Masters ideal, or strong industry experience)
  • Healthcare or life sciences experience is a bonus
  • Tech stack: Python with scikit learn, Pandas, PyTorch, Jupyter, Databricks, Ray, vector databases, Kubernetes
  • Orchestration tools like Airflow, Dagster, Astronomer
  • GPU compute on prem or cloud (AWS or Azure), plus MLflow, ClearML, Weights and Biases
  • LLMs including fine tuning, inference, RAG, and multi agent frameworks like LlamaIndex
