We’re partnering with a high-growth, venture-backed AI platform that is transforming how large financial institutions automate and scale complex workflows. Backed by top-tier global investors and growing fast, they’re now looking for a Platform Engineer to take ownership of cloud infrastructure as the company scales. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building robust, secure, and cost-efficient platforms in fast-paced environments and wants real ownership and impact.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure to support rapid product growth
- Own DevOps, observability, and reliability across the platform
- Prepare systems for SOC 2 / ISO 27001 audit readiness
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines across backend, frontend, and data services
- Implement logging, metrics, tracing, alerting, and on-call processes
- Monitor and optimise cloud costs without compromising performance or reliability
- Act as a champion for operational excellence across engineering teams
Technical Skills Required
- Cloud experience with Azure (AWS experience a plus)
- Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Kubernetes (AKS), Docker, GitHub Actions
- Strong observability experience (logging, metrics, tracing)
- Solid understanding of networking (VPCs, DNS, load balancers, VPNs, firewalls)
- Experience managing production databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, NoSQL) and storage
- Scripting and automation using Python and/or Bash
- Security best practices, secrets management, and vulnerability scanning
Experience
- 4–7 years in platform, infrastructure, or DevOps engineering
- Startup or high-growth environment experience strongly preferred
- Proven ownership of infrastructure end-to-end
- Experience with compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR)
- Track record of balancing scale, reliability, and cost efficiency
