The predicted salary is between 25000 - 32000 £ per year.

The Training Assistant will support the Training Manager to provide high standards of training across the site to address and remove skills gaps and ensure operatives are skilled and competent to carry out their role. Your main accountabilities will be to:

  • Support the Training Manager in providing high standards of training across the factory floor to fill skills gaps and ensure operatives are skilled and competent to carry out their role.
  • Work with the Training Manager to support Team Leaders & level 3 operatives in reviewing teams training needs and training plans.
  • Regularly conduct induction sessions for the new starters.
  • Report any concerns to the Training Manager where observed levels of training from those carrying out training i.e. Level 3s or TLs do not meet the high standard expected.
  • Assist in maintaining the training matrix, to ensure it is up to date and training log entries recorded.
  • Provide support in monitoring agency staff on site (including starters and leavers) and their training requirements; working with Factory Trainers to ensure those training needs are carried out and delivered.
  • Support in areas of administration related to the training department.
  • Helping to deliver communications and/or deliver training necessary following release of updated SOPs.
  • Assist in maintaining up to date staff training files.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating training material.
  • Support in delivery of in-house training courses within your area of competence.

This could be a full-time role for 40 hours per week or a part-time role for a minimum of 30 hours per week.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Previous experience of delivering training.
  • Numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Good IT Skills.

Desirable:

  • Experience within an FMCG environment.
