We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Technical Fields Person to join our team, supporting the quality and logistics of our Maincrop Potato operations. This is a varied role that combines fieldwork, grower liaison, and administrative tasks, offering excellent development opportunities including working towards a BASIS and FACTS qualification.
Key Responsibilities
- Crop Sampling: Collect samples from fields and stores to produce accurate QC results for the team.
- Grower Liaison: Communicate with growers regarding upcoming loading plans.
- Record Management: Collate and maintain accurate crop records.
- Office Support: Field incoming calls when in the office.
- Cross-Functional Work: Occasionally assist other parts of our group, including suppliers and partners.
- Storage Management: Support with storage and store management activities.
- Logistics Coordination: Liaise with hauliers and customers to book loads into factories.
