Join Albert Bartlett as a Technical Compliance Manager and take a lead role in shaping and enhancing the quality and safety standards of our products. You'll be at the heart of our operations, driving the development and implementation of robust Technical Safety and Quality systems for both branded and retailer own brand products. Collaborate closely with production and QA teams to deliver excellence in compliance, safety, and customer satisfaction.
As a key member of the site team reporting to the Site Technical Manager, you will champion internal audits, manage BRC and customer audits with confidence, and spearhead initiatives that elevate our quality management system. Your expertise will empower teams through training on HACCP and quality standards, ensuring consistent adherence and continuous improvement across the board. Step in as a trusted deputy for the Technical Manager when needed, overseeing testing programmes and compliance measures to safeguard our commitment to quality.
What We're Looking For:
- A solid background in Quality Systems theory and practical implementation.
- Strong proficiency in HACCP, with Lead Assessor qualification seen as a plus.
- Proven experience managing and delivering high-standard audit programmes, including BRC and customer audits.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively train and engage cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and drive projects to completion.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and other computer systems for reporting and management.
- Relevant scientific education, preferably a degree in a related discipline.
- Experience in retail, fresh produce, added value, or high care environments is highly valued.
- Demonstrated managerial skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
